The METRO Show is Pleased to Announce That Giampietro Gallery Will Debut The Work of Larry Lewis

13-Jun-2012

Giampietro Gallery to Introduce the Collage Work of Artist Larry Lewis next January at METRO Show 2013.

Larry Lewis (1919-2004) lived and worked from his home studio in Connecticut. Only recently has the important body of his work come to light.

The work of Lewis spans over 50 years and includes nearly 100 collage books as well as numerous singular works. Lewis' unique vision was enhanced through experiences that spanned early Hollywood and industrialization, through pop culture. His relative obscurity and intuitive execution positions his work on that precarious line that divides Outsider and Fine Art.
